Each page has an adorable picture created by Issy and a simple sentence. Which means everyone in my class could read these books!
We actually are learning about reptiles in science, so we read "Lizzie the Lizard"! After we were done, everyone was excited to write and draw about their own lizard! When my kiddos are excited to read AND write, you know you have something good! These books are SO good! :)
Even during Daily 5 I had more kiddos than I ever do choosing Read to Self and Read to Someone!
We were sent the 10 book pack plus a free "Meet Issy" book and all of these books came in a perfect carrying case!
The first thing my kiddos wanted to do after I told them Issy and her grandma sent us books was for me to tell them "Thank you", so Issy books-THANK YOU! We loved them and believe every child who gets the opportunity to read them will love them too!
Oh my goodness! I LOVE this post and I had no idea about those books! Thanks for sharing!
