I set up 3 buckets (you could use more) with a number on each one.
We took a "dinosaur egg" (ball) and threw it into a bucket.
Then, we put the matching number of stickers onto our counting sheet.
Next, we threw the ball again and added more stickers. We did a lot of discussing about how many we had, how many we added, and how many we had altogether!
It was a great way to get up and moving PLUS add some easy addition into the mix! Instead of buckets, you can lay them on the floor! Grab this activity HERE!
