Easter Egg Addition Butcher Paper Activity

I have a simple addition activity you can do with your kiddos!

This is very easy to set up and hits a bunch of skills!

I drew eggs in different colors on a piece of butcher paper.  You can find long paper at Dollar Tree in the wrapping paper.

First thin we did was identify the numbers we saw, then we found the Do a Dot Marker that matched the egg, next we dotted to match the number underneath.

Finally, we counted up all the dots.  We talked about how two numbers together can make a new number!

Very simple early addition skills, but we also got to work on number identification, one to one correspondence, color matching, plus counting!
