Toddler Tuesday: Birthday Sprinkles Sensory Bin

Happy Tuesday! I have two activities for today!  One is a super cute sensory bin idea and the other is an activity to do in the sensory bin!

We dyed rice together to make this sensory bin. Grab the recipe two different recipes HERE!

We used neon gel dye to dye our rice.  These are our "sprinkles" for our bin.

I added candles, cupcake holders, and pom poms to use with the rice.  We also used a cupcake pan, too!

We switched from our sensory bin to a larger bin for the floor that could hold all of our supplies!  It was perfect!

This was an easy open ended to do with the little ones!  Make sure you watch the candles-they look super tasty ;)

For a fun academic activity, I put in these fun cupcake number matching cards!

Your kiddos will count the sprinkles and match the number.  These can be used in a sensory bin or you can use them in your centers box.

Okay-one more activity to use in this sensory bin!  We took these letter cards and practiced writing our letters in our "sprinkles"
