We have had some busy last couple days in kindergarten! We finally got our MLK projects finished in between our two days of state testing! We started our project by using words to describe Martin Luther King Jr! My kiddos came up with a great list which included leader, brave, equal, nice, and ended with I Love Martin Luther King Jr.! We cut out the picture of MLK and the I Have a Dream and added our describing words! We have a Black History Month Celebration at the end of February so I am going to keep them to hang up for that!
This little one added He's to each of our describing words!
We have to start our standardized testing next week. I am not looking forward to it!! Your MLK projects turned out great. :)

It made for some really out of routine days!! Thanks! :)
DeleteWhat a super cute idea! I love the descriptive word brainstorm :) They turned out adorable. The little guy who added {he's} to each word is so sweet! I will definitly be doing this next year!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! It actually came to me when we were reviewing what we knew about him and some of my little ones were saying really great describing words, so I decided to add it to the project! :)
DeleteThese are so cute!
