Run, Run as Fast as You Can

Wow!  Finally, Wednesday!  Did I mention we didn't have school Monday and this week still seems long!  At least we are having lots of fun during our Gingerbread Week!!  We have done lots of fun activities, thanks to some fabulous bloggers who posted fabulous freebies!  My kiddos love doing little emergent readers!  Kristen from Kinderpillars made a color words gingerbread book which was so perfect!

My kiddos love doing Write the Room and so I created a worksheet that had my kinders finding all the color words they could in the room and then coloring the gingerbread man that color!  They did so great with this! I made plain color words without any colors and then I used color word cards from Kinderpillars Gingerbread Color Words pack!

We ended our day with some Gingerbread cookie fun!! Yes, I had to wait until the end for this sugar rush!  We first voted on what color to make our frosting and surprisingly it was pink!! My favorite color, but with only 5 girls pink still won!  We all go our own cookie and frosted them and enjoyed!  More activities to come tomorrow!
