Happy Halloween!
Thursday, November 1, 2012
I hope everyone had a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween! Room 32 had a great day! All the kiddos were allowed to wear their costumes to school, which had some kiddos in tears that morning because they did not have one. I work in a community where some cannot afford costumes, so I was stuck with a handful of kinders in tears because they didn't have a costume. I quickly thought on my feet and we made the cutest colorful spider headbands! The tears disappeared and we were ready for a Halloween filled day!
Of course, the teachers had to dress up too!
We spent the last part of our day celebrating by listening to spooky music (Thanks Halloween Party Pandora!) and playing pin the nose on the Jack o' Lantern! The kids had the perfect day and didn't want to leave...aww!
The first day of November wouldn't be complete without a FREEBIE! I created the cutest color recognition worksheet! Enjoy! Don't forget to follow my blog and TPT store!
You can get your worksheet here!
Obsessed! I already pinned this worksheet. Thank you!
