As educators, we remember and honor our fallen colleagues and their students from Sandy Hook School. We honor them each day in our classrooms in which we continue their dream of teaching our children. We honor their memory with our service. Join with teachers everywhere in committing random acts of kindness to show our love for Sandy Hook.
It is hard to believe it has almost been one year since that horrific day in Newtown, CT. That day started out normal like any day, but when I checked my phone at the end of the day I had many text messages from my sister asking if I have heard about what took place. Of course at that time, I had no idea. I looked it up online and was STUNNED! How could someone do that? By the end of the day, all the teachers had heard. Waiting for buses that day we found it hard to hide our sadness, as we stared at our cute little ones getting more and more excited for Christmas. I still remember the bad timing of a linky Irene and I planned and posted that day! Yikes!
The people of Newtown are asking that everyone commit random acts of kindness on December 14th in honor of the teachers and students. The blogging community is coming together to remember Sandy Hook by spreading their message and encouraging others to commit random acts of kindness
We don't want to wait until then, so we are starting today!

Time flies by so fast but we may always remember the ones we've lost. They would always be in our hearts. We also need to encourage our students to be kind and love at all times. Thanks for reminding us and take care.
