Happy Tuesday! And Happy February!
We did a fun water sensory bin this past weekend and it was perfect for those little ones!
I added
heart table scatter and
heart boxes to a bin of warm water. I found these supplies at Dollar Tree and Walmart, but I linked similar products! I let them explore and they put the hearts inside of the boxes in the water.
Next, I added a bowl and spoon so we could practice scooping and transferring our hearts to the bowl.
Once the bowl was full, they dumped the hearts back into the water! It was fun to watch what they wanted to do with the supplies they were given.
This was definitely an open ended activity and I let them do whatever they would like. I "hoped" they would work with the spoon, but if they just wanted to pick out the hearts that would of been fine, too!
