Stacking Hearts

Valentine's Day is next week and I have a fine motor/STEM activity that you can try with your kiddos!

I created these roll and STACK mats to use for this activity!  You are probably thinking stacking?  Yes!

After we rolled, we used candy hearts and stacked them to match the number! 

It was a great way to figure out how to get them to all stack on top of each other without falling over! 

It is also a great way to practice counting, one to one correspondence, and number identification!  Grab these mats (also comes in BW) HERE!

If you don't want to use food, you can always use it as a roll and cover!
