Splat the Cat Back to School Freebie

I always like to start the first few days of school by talking about what everyone did over the summer. 

A great book to get the conversation started is "Splat the Cat:  Back to School, Splat".  Splat has to share with his class what he did over summer break with his class.

He brainstorms ideas before deciding to bring his sister to school!
I created a freebie that your kiddos can do!  I included a variety of worksheets to use based on your grade level.  I have one that they just draw and one they will write and draw. 

A great way to extend this lesson is to have students volunteer to share their papers with the class.
These sheets would work with any back to school book, too!
