Five for Friday

Happy Friday!  What a LONG week!  So much going on in kindergarten!  I am linking up with Doodle Bugs for the Five for Friday linky!

1.  Our school is lucky to have their very own science lab and a science teacher!  Every other week my kiddos get to go in and do fun experiments with the teacher!  This week they tested the effects different chemicals had on fire!  The fire turned some cool colors!

2.  We were really going over being a good friend.  This week we talked about being fillers and not dippers. We made a really cute bucket activity.  We traced the sentence "I am a bucket FILLER", then decorated our buckets!
3.  On Valentine's Day one of my old students stopped by with a Valentine for me!  He was quite a handful last year but I was one of the few that he would listen to and do what was asked of him.  SUCCESS! :)

3.  We are finishing up our shapes unit in math and today I had a ton of extra papers from our projects this week so I passed a bunch out to each kiddo and let them cut out shapes to create their own pictures of just shapes!  They turned out so cute!

4.  Totally random but for Valentine's Day the hubs and I went to the Gopher/ Badger basketball game!  It was a total blast!  I love the Badgers but the Gophers sure did a fabulous job!  I might of cheered a lot for them...underdogs and home court..I had to!

5.   We also did this fabulous LOVE worksheet to plan what we were going to write about in our journals!  This was created by the fabulous Amanda from Mrs. Pauley's Kindergarten!
