Sun Themed Activities for Preschoolers

 

As I am typing this it is actually raining but I have a fun sun themed pack that is perfect for your preschooler. It follows the same layout as my preschool packs but it is a little smaller with more of a focused theme.  This is perfect for summer and has many ways to do each activity.

There are 5 activities + some of the activities have more than one way you can complete it or have extra worksheets with them.  Sun Color Matching This color matching has color cards with and without the color word.  Once your preschooler matches the color they can trace the color word.  This activity has TWO color word worksheets to go along with it. We did this one a little differently and didn't cut the strips apart. We glued each sun in its place, traced using the matching color, then made it into a book!

Sun Tracing Strips There are two different tracing activities included.  There are tracing strips that have numbers and lines to trace.  I also included letter tracing cards, too! These can be used with dry erase markers or trace each card/strip with mini erasers.

Sun Coloring + Writing Sheets

There are two different coloring + writing sheets. One sheet has filling in the color word and one has filling in the beginning letter (___ is for the sun.)!

Sun Number Sensory Bin The final activity is a counting and number match activity.  Count the sun rays and match the number then trace the number on the recording sheet.  There is also a sheet where your preschool could pick two sun counting cards and add them together then write the number.
