Unicorn Play Dough Tray

We had a fun unicorn themed week and I wanted to share this EASY play dough tray.

I made the play dough with my girls.  We did a cook recipe.
1 cup flour
1/4 salt
2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar

1 tablespoon oil

1 cup water

Food coloring

Glitter

Mix dry ingredients in a pot.  Add food coloring to water and add liquids.  Turn heat on medium and continue to stir until a ball forms.  Once a ball forms, kneed until cool.  Add glitter and kneed that into the play dough.

I added unicorn cookie cutters, heart shaped gems, and plastic unicorns to the try.

They cut out a unicorn and used the gems to decorate.  This was a huge hit!  They pushed the plastic unicorns into the play dough to see what kind of print they could make in their dough.
